can’t say enough great things about tim and skyler. their personalities, their friends and families, all around good people. the kind of wedding you want to be a guest at, especially when the entire reception jumps on the dance floor and sings “piano man” as a group. the last time i saw this all of the men sang with their pants on the ground, thankfully not this go around 🙂
part two of our shoot from last week ended up being a little sassy, a little glam
i wanted gabbi to look elegant, but not stuffy
and nic, well nic was more the arm candy for this series.
don’t you love candy?

i have a strong feeling ben and taryn will be getting together with their families tomorrow for easter… which means they’ll be asking to see their wedding photos…which aren’t quiet ready.
in order to hold them over i’ll post a few here tonight- more to come later, just a small taste for now.
there will be plenty more with a little sweet love story to go along with it.
these high school sweethearts were engaged at a winery in temecula this past december.
tony surprised her with having both of their families there to celebrate with them after he popped the question.
we took their photos at sophia’s parents house where she grew up- the perfect spot
(pictures at a location that has meaning to the couple always makes the pictures that much more meaningful, think about that when you are thinking of a location for your photos)
they told me the backyard had a lot of greenery and might be a good spot
law’d almighty was this backyard AMAZING!
from orange trees, weeping willows, a pool, vineyard, a fountain, you name it!
we could have stayed here the entire session, drinking wine, walking around, laughing… but
we decided to head to one more location near by.
so glad we did.
sophia picked the perfect outfits for she and tony
the first was a pale pink long dress, she felt comfortable and looked beautiful
the outfits she picked complemented each other without looking as if they were going to the sadie hawkins dance in high school
(thats were you and your date wear matching outfits to a dance, weird… i know but i loved that dance in high school )
the second outfit they both wore browns, whites, and cremes AND she added a little pop by wearing a chunky gold necklace (accessories are always a plus and she nailed the accessories)
finally they ended with a black, grey, and pop of red ensemble
* side note to sophia… if the whole lawyer thing doesn’t work out for ya, i pretty sure you could kill it as a stylist
anywho, here are some of their pics.
looking forward to their wedding at the roosevelt in LA this september!
we headed out to long beach for chase and heather’s engagement pictures
they were engaged right near the lighthouse and wanted to capture that moment all over again.
this time chase was able to relax,
as the engagement story goes it was a hot sunny california day when chase and heather walked down to the lighthouse.
chase had a long pea coat on (strange thought heather) but she didn’t ask him about it
good thing cuz where else would he be able to hide a ring?
as soon as they got to the right spot chase got down on his knee and asked heather to be his wife.
once she said yes, he was able to take the pea coat off, and breath.
usually when i photograph couples i give them and myself about 20 minutes to “warm up” before we really get going on their pictures
jimmy and amanda signed up for a 30 minute session
did this make me nervous?
yes. but we went for it.
holy moses did they nail it.
loved everything about this session.
maybe more 30 minute sessions are in my future?
can we just pause for a second and stare at amanda’s eye? i mean really, wow.
disclaimer** josh and erica are not paid models, they are just two of the hottest peeps that i’ve had the recent pleasure of photographing
here is a sneak peek at their wedding from this past weekend.
Intertwined Events knocked it out of the park, as always.
DJ, Victor from As You Wish Events kept the party going all night… starting with the traditional jewish dance.
mazal tov, you two!
